Tata Tele Marketing is aiming to tap into the telco market through its tele marketing services, the telcom operator said in a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission.
The telco’s filing in the US securities and exchange commission, filed on Monday, said that it is expanding its telco marketing business and adding telco marketers to its sales teams in the U.S. and Europe.
Tata Tele Marketing, which has over 100 offices in the United States, said it has already expanded its marketing business to its global headquarters in India and plans to add tele marketing to its existing sales teams and in other markets.TATA is also targeting telcos for its telemarketing and telehealth marketing services.
It has a portfolio of telco brands including Vodafone, Idea Cellular, and Nokia.
Tata said it is also looking to expand its sales force across the globe, including its existing offices in India, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region.
Taj Mahindra & Mahindrapur, the company behind Vodacom, is Tata Tele’s largest customer in the world, the filing said.
The company also has plans to expand the number of people working in its global business, Tata said.
Tatas sales and marketing team has a diverse portfolio of business segments including telecommunications, health and financial services, advertising and sales.
