Tel Aviv has created a new marketing category called “telemarketing defintion” to distinguish itself from its neighboring Israeli neighbors, the country’s president said Monday.
Tel Aviv is the second city to adopt the new category, following Tel Aviv that has launched an advertising campaign.
It is a way to differentiate the city from its neighbors, Mayor Nir Barkat said.
Tel, a city of about 1 million people, is home to many companies that have offices in Tel Aviv.
The city has been in a prolonged economic slump due to a lack of foreign investment, and some companies have closed.
